マイクロソフト、IT資産・構成管理製品「Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2007」を発売：NEWS

サーバからクライアントPCまで、総合的なIT資産管理機能を提供。Windowsプラットフォームのライフサイクル全般の一元管理を実現。

　マイクロソフトは2月1日、企業内のIT資産・構成管理ソリューション「Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2007」日本語版を発売した。

　本製品は「Systems Management Server 2003」の後継製品であり、企業のIT基盤の運用管理を支援する「Microsoft System Center」製品群の中の1つ。セキュリティ管理・監査機能、構成管理機能、資産管理機能、パッチ管理機能、アプリケーション管理機能などの各種管理機能を提供し、企業の内部統制整備とセキュリティ強化を支援する。

　また、今後登場予定の「Windows Server 2008」のネットワークアクセス保護機能と連携し、クライアントPCへの更新プログラムの適用やソフトウェアのインストールなどの機能を提供する。

　System Center Configuration Manager 2007で展開・管理可能なOS要件は以下の通り。
